NC A&T Delegation Visits Duke



Informatics Research Seminar speaker Christopher C. Doss, PhD, along with three of his colleagues from NC A&T State University, visited Duke University on March 6, 2014 to learn more about Duke’s efforts in the mobile-health space. Dr. Doss, an Associate Professor with NC A&T’s Electrical and Computer Engineering Department and the Director of its Mobile Health Interoperability Lab met with Bernard Fuemmeler, PhD, MPH, MS, Constance Johnson, PhD, MS, RN, and Ryan J. Shaw, PhD. Discussions centered around Dr. Fuemmeler’s work in the use of mobile health for improving patient self-management and adherence, Dr. Johnson’s research in human-computer interaction, and Dr. Shaw’s work in mobile technologies.

Joining Dr. Doss on the visit were Daniel B. Limbrick, PhD, Assistant Professor, and Corey A. Graves, PhD, Associate Professor in NC A&T’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Mohd Anwar, PhD, Assistant Professor of Computer Science in NC A&T’s College of Engineering.
