Anita Walden and Ed Hammond’s poster at CTSA IKFC

Anita Walden and Ed Hammond, PhD, attended the November 2012 meeting of the Clinical & Translational Awards (CTSA) Informatics Key Function Committee (IKFC) and presented a poster titled “Developing Therapeutic Data Standards for Improving Interoperability Across Organizations” (authors: Anita Walden, Meredith Nahm PhD, Brian McCourt, William Hammond PhD, Pamela Douglas MD, Terri Monk MD, Amina Ahmed MD, Rebecca Wilgus, Helena Ellis, and James Tcheng, MD).

The purpose of the poster was inform the informatics community of the therapeutic data standards that have been created and in development under the management or leadership of Duke.

The “primary mission [of the IKFC] is to assist in the successful implementation of informatics support for all CTSA functions by sharing knowledge, expertise, and resources.”
